Candle Cove Singles Chart: 11/8/19

1. Frank Ocean - In My Room For the second time in three weeks Frank Ocean takes the number one spot on the charts with pure name recognition alone, and for the second time in two weeks he blocks a Coldplay tune at #2. Frank seems to be gearing up for a proper album release which is exciting for everyone even if the singles haven't received universal acclaim. 2. Coldplay - Everyday Life Coldplay is back with a third single in three weeks and this one came paired with a debut performance of the song on Saturday Night Live, proving that despite the years since Coldplay's last record they are still commercially dominant. 3. Candle Cove Singles Chart 10/25/19

1. Frank Ocean - DHL Despite having come out very early in the week it is hard to pick anything but Frank Ocean's first new music since 2017 to top this weeks chart, full of potential chart toppers but none of which have quite the circumstance of Frank. 2. Coldplay - Arabesque Coldplay has been making some big but vague promises in interviews recently and now we finally get the taste of their new upcoming "experimental" record with the release of its first two singles. 3. Destroyer - Crimson Tide Dan Beyar is back after a prolific and critically acclaimed decade writing songs as Destroyer with yet another new era on the horizon, though we will have to wait until next year to hear the full album we can get a taste of it right now with its lead single. 4. IGOR - Tyler, The Creator: Review

Tyler, The Creator is a California based rap artist who came up in the early 2000's out of the Odd Future collective. Since then Tyler has evolved into a genre bending superstar dabbling in fashion, television and of course producing and rapping. His 2017's album Flower Boy  turned his popularity dial up to 10 with its sharp shift in sound to a much poppier approach that attracted many mainstream fans and IGOR  is the follow-up to the project now two years later.  Review By Lavender: I was born at just the right time to have grown up with Odd Future and I remember so many essential moments of their rise to fame like they were yesterday.
