21 Savage & Metro Boomin   are a pairing of some of contemporary hip hops most prominent voices and producers in the current game. The two originally connected on a full length project in 2016 when 21 Savage was an up and coming voice in the Atlanta hip hop scene and Metro Boomin was one of the most in demand producers after working with Kanye West and Drake. Since then they have both grown even further in notoriety and achieved commercial and critical success with projects of their own. Smokepurpp is a Florida based rapper who emerged alongside the ever growing wave of SoundCloud rap over the latter half of the last decade. His frequent collaborations with artists like Denzel Curry and Lil Pump, who he fronts the group Gucci Gang alongside, as well as producers like Murda Beatz and Ronny J has given him a contemporary and influential sound. Lil Uzi Vert is a Philly born trap rapper who developed a cult like following off the back of his come-up, culminating in his 2017 debut studio record Luv Is Rage 2 .
