Candle Cove Singles Chart: 11/1/19

1. Tame Impala - It Might Be Time
Kevin Parker and Tame Impala grab their second number one of the year as he gears up to drop the long awaited fourth record from the critically acclaimed rock band.

2. Torres - Good Score
Torres is finally back and as she is set to drop a new record in January of next year we get our first taste of what it may sound like and the first single from Torres since last years Two of Everything.

3. La Roux - International Woman Of Leisure
La Roux is finally back after along five years since her last record to see if she can once again drop a record that is both sonically ambitious but incredibly catchy and successfully contemporary.

4. Vince Staples - Sheet Music
Episode 2 of The Vince Staples show has been long awaited but his unconventional music rollout continues here with another song and video.

5. Pinegrove - Phase
Pinegrove is leading up to their third record in five years and there hasn't been any indication so far that it won't be another helping of warm, intimate, low-fi indie bliss.

6. Haim - Now I'm In It
After featuring on some of the best records of the year from Vampire Weekend and Charli XCX HAIM have dropped two singles of their own this year and expectations for this one should be a little bit higher than the first.

7. Deerhunter - Timebends
After dropping a decent record earlier this year Deerhunter have emerged with a surprisingly quick turnaround on their newest single Timebends which promises to be more of a classic Deerhunter fans type of tune.

8. Ski Mask The Slump God - Carbonated Water
The ever prolific Ski Mask dropped two record last year and has been a frequent feature across 2019 but he has seen fit to drop a new solo single completely out of the blue this week.

9. AJJ - A Poem
Though many haven't liked their direction for almost half a decade now AJJ continue to release new music semi regularly and always with the promise that they may return to form, or push forward into more interesting sounds.

10. Algiers - Disposession
Algiers have been one of the more notable experimental rock groups of this decade and after an incredible strange but well loved single dropped earlier this year they get back into more comfortable territory with the lead single to their new record.

11. The Game - Stainless (Feat. Anderson Paak.)
The Game surprise drops a collab single with Anderson Paak and given Paak's dominance of features across the board in 2019 this could be a good sign.

12. Michael Stipe - Your Capricious Soul
The former R.E.M frontman didn't impress with his first solo single a few months ago but he's taking another shot at it with this interestingly named track.

13. The 1975 - Frail State Of Mind (Week #2, Down From #4)
The 1975 leapfrog Coldplay and Destroyer with yet another excellent single that provides a standout take on the sound they began crafting with TOOTIME last year.

14. Coldplay - Arabesque (Week #2, Down From #2)
Coldplay's genre pushing single attracted a lot of attention after their claim of an oncoming experimental record and the jazz and experimental rock influences delight across the song.

15. Destroyer - Crimson Tide (Week #2, Down From #3)
Destroyer is back with a solid single that may overstay its welcome just a little but for the most part hangs onto what makes his music so compelling while reaching for a new sound.
