CC Singles Chart: 6/28/19

1. The Drums - Try
One of the weakest release weekends all year for singles is headlined by a well deserved #1 for The Drums, who dropped numerous great singles earlier this year that were blocked from the top spot.

2. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Organ Farmer
Gizz takes the number two spot after a quick turnaround from a disappointing last record, and the announcement that their next album in just a few months will be a thrash metal release.

3. Juicy J - Three Point Stance (Feat. City Girls & Megan Thee Stallion)
Juicy J recruits hot feature City Girls and recently named 2019 XXL freshman Megan Thee Stallion for what will certainly be a grimey and inappropriate song.

4. Liam Gallagher - The River
Liam follows up a surprisingly good lead single with the potential to drum up more hype than his brothers solo project this year.

5. The Soft Cavalry - Never Be Without You
The Soft Cavalry takes advantage of the short week for their highest charting single yet and continue to drum up hype for the groups debut release later this year.

6. Bhad Bhabie - Get Like Me (Feat. NLE Choppa)
Bhad Bhabie is back this time with yet another young trapper co-sponsoring her music in what has the potential to be a catchy and youthful affair.

7. Neck Deep - She's A God
Pop-Punk band Neck Deep shows up out of nowhere to drop a single that may be indicative of the groups next era.

8. Rich The Kid - Party Bus (Feat. Famous Dex & Jay Critch)
Rich returns with some notable friends on a posse cut that will likely fall to the wayside but has some potential to turn heads.

9. Nicki Minaj - MEGATRON
Nicki's bad bitch anthem rides a strong top 10 placement in week two and has a lot of potential to even hold onto a week three spot.

10. Spoon - No Bullets Spent
Spoon also returns strong with their return to form track that provides more of what everybody already loves spoon so much for.

11. Lupe Fiasco - Run Game
Lupe Fiasco dropped this song by complete surprise and the main thing keeping it inseparable from the charts this week is just how damn good of a song it is.

12. YBN Cordae - Bad Idea (Feat. Chance The Rapper)
Cordae and Chance teamed up for this emotional and personal ballad last week and it has clearly held up for both of them on the back of great production and even better performances.

13. Stormzy - Crown
On his second single this year Stormzy hasn't quite run the world over like he did with his first but it clearly a sharp song that will stay in the heads of many for a long time.

14. Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - Seniorita
It's hard to say that Seniorita was disappointing given how low expectations were but the star power alone helps it hang on for a week two spot.

15. Burial - Claustro
Claustro joins Carly Rae Jepsen's Julien, Tame Impala's Patience, and Vampire Weekend's Harmony Hall as the only songs to achieve the lucrative third week on the singles chart this year, a good omen for the song going into year end lists.
