Friday Morning Hype Thread: 7/7/17

It's our lucky day. And hopefully some of that luck will rub off on these albums and a huge success will break out.

3. Haim -"Somethint To Tell You"
Haim's debut album was met with critical scepticism, but found crossover appeal with their indie and pop rock blends. Something To Tell You's singles have been met with the same shakyness but the album could ultimately be a fan favorite.

2. Broken Social Scene - "Hug Of Thunder"
Broken Social Scene are back and they have all the momentum in their favor. Feist put out one of her better albums this year and the singles for this album have followed suit. Don't expect Hug Of Thunder to sound like anything else you'll hear this year, for better or for worse.

1. Public Service Broadcasting - "Every Valley"
PSB has the tought task of following up their fantastic 2015 concept album The Race For Space. But lead single People Will Always Need Coal may have proven that they're up to the task. Every Valley appears to be a concept album but if it will run as deep and he as interesting as The Race For Space is to be determined.
